The purpose of the Colorado PTAC is to generate employment and improve the general economic condition of the state by assisting Colorado companies including those eligible for preferential consideration in obtaining and performing under local, state and federal government contracts.

They provide procurement technical assistance to help you in the selling of your products or services to the appropriate government agency by offering confidential counseling at no cost. The core of our procurement assistance program is counseling and education.

  • The Colorado Office of Certification (COC) manages the State's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification Program. The COC provides a centralized process for the Department of Transportation, Regional Transportation District, Denver Water Department, and all transit agencies in the state to verify DBE status.

  • The CDC is a joint effort of the Colorado Department of Transportation in collaboration with the Colorado Small Business Development Center. It seeks to increase the total statewide number of socially and economically disadvantaged businesses (DBE) and underutilized DBEs (UDBE) active in CDOT's Maintenance, Construction and Design Programs funded by FHWA, FTA, and FAA.

  • The DSBO provides information on contracting opportunities and requirements for Small Business Enterprises (SBE)and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) within the City and County of Denver.

  • Colorado state government's central purchasing agency. Purchasing agents normally use the BIDS System when they need to competitively purchase goods costing over $5,000 and services costing over $25,000.
  • The on-line Bid Information and Distribution System (BIDS) is a web site designed to notify interested vendors of the State of Colorado's intent to purchase goods or services. The State Purchasing Office also maintains a Vendor Resources web page that lists events of interest to vendors as well as additional information on the BIDS systems.
