Small Business Navigator

​The Small Business Navigator is the first point of contact for new and existing business owners with questions about federal, state and local licensing requirements. The navigator also provides referrals to a variety of state and federal assistance programs and local small business training. Veteran-Owned Business Database

The SBDC is dedicated to helping veteran small businesses through Arizona, Colorado and Kansas. Visit www.vetbizassist.org for up to date information and resources for veterans, as well as a comprehensive of veteran-owned businesses in the region.
​Minority Business Database

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade hosts the Minority & Women-Owned Business Office, which provides information and services to help members of minority groups start his or her on business. List a minority-owned business in the extensive searchable database.

Colorado SBDC Annual Report


This report highlights the tremendous cooperation between community organizations that support small business. Academic institutions, economic development organizations, local government and corporate partners all play a part in the success of the Colorado SBDC Network. The participation of these entities is crucial to the support given to small businesses in the state.

This report contains success stories of SBDC clients and financial impact numbers, organized by center and by congressional district. Through the financial support of the business acumen of our clients, the Colorado SBDC was able to generate $67.94 in capital formation for every federal grant dollar obtained by the state. In addition, $80 in capital formation was obtained for every dollar local host organizations and communities contributed. To view the entire report, click here.

The Colorado SBDC offers free online training videos to help you start your business. The videos range in topics from starting a business to managing your finances to the foundations of marketing. There are multiple videos under each topic focused in different speciality areas. The videos are also available in Spanish. Click here to start learning.
