07-26-2016 Retail 101
Although this event has been canceled, we recommend taking next month's retail workshop here! https://clients.coloradosbdc.org/workshop.aspx?ekey=70360136
Description:
This seminar will review the basics of opening a retail store. There is much to decide before your store opens but two of the key components are your mission/vision as a company as well as your target customer. Once these critical components are decided upon, you can begin budgeting for a new store opening. First you must find a location, order merchandise, set up store, plan marketing, and hire and train employees. You must understand your financial budget before you can make decisions on each of these components. This seminar will touch on all of these topics and help provide the framework for a successful retail operation.
