2017.04.50 Cyber CYA: HIPAA Compliance

Description:
Join Blake Schwank, CEO of Colorado Computer Support and Bonnie Moss, COO of the Cybersecurity Institute for Small and Micro Businesses for an information session for all companies, business associates and covered entities. This session is not only for physicians and practices, but for ANY company that may touch patient data (business associates). This includes CPA's, document shredders, IT providers, lawyers, recyclers, etc.
If you work around healthcare and do not know if you are a business associate or covered entity...or who these entities are - you need to be in this class!
We will cover not only how to protect your network from cyber threats, but how to protect yourself from any vendors who may be at risk. Do you have the right email in place? Is your data encrypted? Are your faxes secure? Do you have the right network equipment in place? Any individual touching or reading data must attend this class.
