On May 3, 2018, in conjunction with Small Business Week, the City of Evans will gather community members and business owners to celebrate the many accomplishments of Evans' businesses.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

The entrepreneur takes a vision and turns it into reality. This award recognizes a business which has developed an innovative product or a valuable new service, or on which has adapted and improved a current product or service to keep pace with the times and the needs of its clients.

 

Community Support

This award recognizes a business or business person whose civic and community service goes beyond "normal" responsibilities, creating a lasting and beneficial impact for all residents. The nominee should be someone who sets an example for commitment to public service while maintaining a strong business image.

The Newcomer

Many factors go into the decision a business makes to establish themselves in any given location. Evans wants to be the kind of Community that is business-friendly and we want to acknowledge when a business chooses us as their home base of operation. This award recognizes a business that chose to move to Evans from elsewhere. 

Cornerstone

This award recognizes a well-established local business that has roots in the agricultural and industrial history of the Evans community.
