Information covered: business certifications; federal, state and local agencies and opportunities; registrations; using purchasing levels as an entry strategy. 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM How to protect your business and become cyber-compliant by the December 31st deadline! Understand how your small business may be at risk, what you can do to protect your customers and assets, and how to prepare for the federally-mandated guidelines in NIST 800-171. 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM How to win federal and state innovation grants for early stage science and technology companies. Information covered: Basics on SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) and other technology grants – agencies, topics, process, opportunities; how to develop technology commercialization plans.
