Starting a non-profit can be challenging. This course is designed to help you navigate through the steps you need to start a non-profit organization. Presenters include an Attorney, Human Resource Specialist, and an Insurance Agent. Topics to be covered include setting up a nonprofit corporation in Colorado, common legal issues, good hiring practices, the difference between an employee and contractor, how to apply for tax exemptions, IRS requirements, accounting for restricted donations and grants, insurance policies and more!
