IP is the original concepts, ideas, products, inventions, etc. developed by your business that become valuable assets. Since IP has value, and it belongs to you, you’ll want to protect it!

Meet our instructors

Kristina Fox is an attorney at Fox Law Group. The attorney practice has special expertise in the areas of trademark and patent law as well as dispute resolution and mediation. This litigation background has given Fox Law Group a practical approach to legal issues that affect businesses on a daily basis, helping them hone agreements and advise companies in ways that avoid common pitfalls.

Donna Arment is Durango’s patent and trademark resource officer at the Durango public library. She helped business owners with business and marketing plan research for about five years before working with patents and trademarks. She has been helping local inventors for almost a year to get their ideas off the ground and navigate the complicated U.S. patent process.
