Mon 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Online
Facilitated by Central Mountain SBDC
Topic: Business Basics

With the Lean Canvas, entrepreneurs can focus on identifying problems and solutions and then compile a plan, with steps to take to succeed quickly. Then it has methods to quickly test your progress and either stay the course, pivot or modify and test again. It’s designed to work for a startup mindset and helps entrepreneurs build on their ideas. The Lean Canvas is easy to understand, and it encourages entrepreneurs to think carefully. This process is also a great tool for those thinking about pivoting or scaling their business concept. This essential one page tool boils down key points into the most important information. It recognizes that the lean business plan is for the entrepreneur to access and use daily, weekly and monthly. It doesn’t need to be extremely detailed when the point is to get to the key things that matter when creating a business plan and start implementing and/or testing them. In this session we will dive into what the Lean Canvas is, why you should use it and how to create it. Once you have attended this course you may schedule a free confidential consulting session to have a Central Mountain SBDC counselor work 1 on 1 with you to create your lean canvas to then build your 2 page lean business plan.
