Through this 10-part Series, with expert help along the way, you can test the feasibility of your idea, solidify your business model and build a road map to profitability. You can finish the series with an actionable business plan to access potential financing or to use as a blueprint to manage your business. The LEADING EDGE™ Series makes you an active participant in a program designed for (and with) fellow entrepreneurs. Facilitators and guest presenters are knowledgeable specialists who are attuned to issues you may face. Thoughtful, insightful and practical, the LEADING EDGE™ Entrepreneurship Series covers all aspects of successful business planning, including: • Develop an effective marketing plan • Create financial projections • Understand legal and organizational issues • Use research for competitive advantage • Understand financing options to grow your business This comprehensive series includes: • Business specialists as guest speakers • Entrepreneur panelists sharing their start-up and growth experiences • Facilitator to keep you on track and match you to resources • 5 hours of consulting with a wide range of business specialists • Support to assist you in reaching your goals Thanks to sponsorship from the City of Longmont, businesses and residents of Longmont can attend at a special scholarship rate*. This series is designed for Longmont-based businesses and residents, though there may be a limited number of spaces available for non-Longmont businesses. If you are an existing Longmont business, you must have a current City of Longmont Sales & Use Tax License to qualify for the special scholarship rate*. Longmont residents interested in starting a business in Longmont may also qualify for the scholarship rate*. LEADING EDGE™ Series Cost: $495 per attendee For Longmont Businesses/Residents Only - Series Cost: $125 per attendee Fifteen (15) scholarships are available to City of Longmont businesses/residents (first come, first served). The scholarship reduces the LEADING EDGE™ Series cost to $125 from the full series cost of $495. Included in that $125 fee is one attendee for each qualifying business*, plus one set of series materials.
