The Nine Stages of Buying or Selling A Business

Every business transaction goes through nine key stages. While never perfectly sequential, these stages will tend to progress in a generally linear fashion. Understanding and preparing for what lies ahead can make the difference between an efficient and successful sale, or one that fails to achieve a positive outcome.

Most sellers have never sold a business previously, and often haven’t purchased one either, since many businesses are started from scratch. Equally, buyers may be acquiring a business for the first time. Both will benefit from knowing what lies ahead during the sales process and preparing for it. This program will lay out the timelines, processes and obligations that will be encountered during a business transaction.

Please note this is Part 1 of a 2 Part series.

This webinar will be held through Zoom. You will receive a reminder email and login information prior to the session.
