Thu 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Online
Facilitated by Pikes Peak SBDC
Topic: Managing a Business

Description:

The pace, unpredictability and complexity of change is causing stress and burnout within businesses today. Adding the tools of emotional and cultural intelligence allow businesses and individuals to show up internally prepared for today's employment and customer service challenges.

Emotional intelligence involves being sensitive to and perceptive of other people's emotions and having the ability to facilitate improved performance based on this knowledge. Studies show emotional intelligence is responsible for over half of job performance. Participants will learn a flexible set of skills that can be acquired and improved with practice.

In our global economy, the ability to interact effectively across cultures is a fundamental job requirement. You will be introduced to a universal set of techniques and people skills that will allow you to adapt quickly to and thrive in any cultural environment.
