The Business Model Canvas is a popular business planning tool for a reason: you can test your concept with a one-page business plan. This template allows you to visually map out the start to your business plan or operation revamp on a single page. The Business Model Canvas can be designed on paper, on a computer or even using sticky notes on a poster-sized model on your wall. You’ll walk away knowing which segment of your business concept to focus in on as you move to your next stages of planning.

SBDC Consultant, Don Rowe, will make each of the nine segments of the business plan easy to understand by looking at real-world examples... including your own. You can sit back and listen, but we encourage interaction, questions, and challenging your concept. Once you complete this class you can bring your completed Business Model Canvas to an individual SBDC consulting session to take your concept to the next level.
