Leading Edge Access to Capital - 6 Week Series

When it comes to funding a business, there are a variety of options for business owners to explore based on their needs and goals. The program positions owners to understand and pursue growth opportunities for their businesses by providing the following:

• Access to online course library of 3 interactive modules to watch On Demand each week
• 3 one-hour live virtual cohort sessions hosted each week by an expert SBDC instructor to answer questions and engage in live discussions with other course participants
• Individual consulting sessions with the SBDC instructor are also available to provide continuous feedback during and after the course at no cost
• Free 2 month subscription to LivePlan ($80 value) at the conclusion of the course to create your financial projections in an SBA-approved business plan template to present to lenders

In this capital access program entitled "How to Fund your Business Growth" you will learn:

• Learn how to identify your capital needs
• Assess the health of your business
• Prepare for a loan application
• Access business consulting by the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC)

This particular course is designed to help Western Slope business owners navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of doing business across rural Colorado.

The LivePlan business planning software platform simplifies common challenges of traditional business planning and financial forecasting templates. Participants will incorporate expert instruction, consulting, and cohort feedback with the intuitive functionality of LivePlan to develop a business plan and projections they can confidently present to a lender or investor and use to guide their business.
