This course covers the fundamental issues you should consider, and steps involved in forming a business entity. Topics covered include what to consider when choosing an entity type, how a business entity can shield you from personal liability, what governing documents you need and what those documents should contain, how to procure an EIN, and basic tax considerations.

We will be joined by Colorado attorney, William Edwards, to discuss what to know about the legal aspects of starting a business. Will is a business attorney with offices in Carbondale and Gunnison, Colorado.
