Learn the what, how and why of bookkeeping. Understand what bookkeeping can tell you about your business and how it can help you manage your cash flow. Learn how to get started setting up and tracking your business income and expenses, by having an appropriate chart of accounts, and knowing what should go on your Profit and Loss Statement and what should go on your Balance Sheet. Find out what data you need to keep track of and what types of expenses are deductible. Learn how to avoid common mistakes and when to call in a bookkeeper or accountant. This workshop is designed for the entrepreneur who is just starting out and has little experience in business accounting or the one who needs a good refresher.
