Topic: Government Contracting

Why is it important to have a Capability Statement, and what is its purpose?

Doing business in the construction and transportation industry is highly competitive for small businesses. A Capability Statement is the most common marketing tool used by subcontractors bidding on jobs in the public sector. It's also an effective tool in the private sector when pursuing work with general contractors and other consumers. In order to be competitive and stay successful in either the government or commercial market, you must have a Capability Statement and it must contain the right information to make your business stand out.
