Join the Denver Metro SBDC and Mission Yogurt for the Trout Tank: Food Frenzy where five entrepreneurs will compete in the first-ever culinary focused pitch event. These Colorado entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to vie for funding from local lenders, angel investors and venture capitalists. The best pitch of the evening, voted on by a panel of notable local food critics and restaurateurs, will win $5,000 cash. While only a handful of entrepreneurs can compete, each Trout Tank is open to the public, allowing audience members to learn from the experiences and pitches of a few.
Pitching Businesses:
- Komotodo Sushi Burrito, a fast-casual contemporary restaurant in the heart of downtown Denver, offering an array of sushi burritos, salads and desserts.
- Kulture Superfoods, a healthy snack food company offering dehydrated Krunchy Kale Chips in a variety of flavors.
- Just BE Kitchen, a gluten, grain and refined sugar-free restaurant concept looking for the perfect space in Denver. The company currently manufactures and distributes gluten, grain and sugar-free treats.
- Petey Bird, uniquely crafted ice cream sandwiches, available for catering, and sold at local farmers markets and in stores such as Spinelli's Market, Alfalfa's Market and Lucky's Market.
- Mac N Noodles, a fast-casual restaurant offering different kinds of macaroni and cheese from a basic version to mash-up styles like Philly cheese steak or Buffalo chicken, cooked to order in front of the customer.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone may attend. If you are a business owner, professional or guest interested in watching the event to support a presenting entrepreneur or just for fun, please RSVP below.

Cost:
Fees include a networking reception with lenders, investors, pitching entrepreneurs and media, food and drinks and a seat at the event. Walk-ins are welcome.
