About Trout Tank: Food Frenzy Pitch Accelerator:
During initial pitches on June 14th , present your best five-minute pitch to a selection committee and your peers. Once you have completed you initial pitch, the training begins. The Denver Metro SBDC will train you to strengthen and hone your pitch and business by providing a Funding Options Panel , a Funding Request Preview , and the Rockies Venture Club Pitch Academy, along with open access to our consultants and other courses.
After this training, the Denver Metro SBDC will hold final auditions to decide the final 5 companies that will pitch at the Trout Tank: Food Frenzy pitch event in August.
Preparing Your Initial Pitch:
The Denver Metro SBDC will send you a webinar to go over what you can expect at auditions and help answer any questions you may have. We will also provide a few templates to help you work on your five-minute pitch. All registrants will receive a recording of the webinar to help you prepare.
Eligibility and Requirements
Only start-up and existing restaurants and hospitality businesses are invited to eligible for Trout Tank: Food Frenzy.
All companies that participate in the initial auditions for Trout Tank will be entered for a chance to pitch at the main event in August. The Denver Metro SBDC will work with you one-on-one to continue perfecting your pitch and polish your financials during the time leading up to the event. All contestants will be invited to:
- Attend Funding Options Panel on June 30th
- Complete a Funding Request Preview
- Go through Rockies Venture Club Pitch Academy on July 12
- Complete pitch deck and pitch packet
- Pitch at the Final Auditions for Trout Tank on July 27th
- Attend Trout Tank in August
