Businesses face ever-increasing pressure from consumers, shareholders and employees to create socially responsible products, services and a positive impact in society. Decades of research proves that companies who design a smart Good Business strategy are rewarded with employee and consumer loyalty, as well as increased brand awareness.

Join us for an introduction to socially responsible business practices, offered in partnership with the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC), B:CIVIC, and CSR Solutions of Colorado.

This session will offer:

  • practical orientation to key socially responsible business principles and practices tailored to small and medium-sized companies
  • Advice from socially responsible business owners
  • A socially responsible business toolkit for developing your strategy
  • Ideas and resources for quickly implementing a strategy for your business

This workshop is led by Pete Dignan, a 3-time CEO of Certified B Corps and lead instructor of the Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Center for Ethics on Social Responsibility (CESR) of the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business.
