Speaker(s): Ron Fore - Salida VP Commercial Loans Ron has lived in Colorado, Salida in particular since 2001. He graduated from Salida High School and from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Ron also played Basketball for Adams State University. He started his banking career with First Southwest Bank in Alamosa in 2015 when he graduated from college as a Credit Analyst. He held that position for four years with the same institution before being promoted to a Portfolio Manager with them, which gave me my first taste of commercial and ag lending. In April of 2020 Ron was offered the opportunity to come back to Salida with High county Bank as a Commercial Loan Officer. He was brought in to specialize and assist with the Paycheck Protection Program loan influx in addition to picking up a portfolio. Ron was then promoted to Vice President of Commercial Loans in January of 2022. His hobbies include skiing, fishing, golfing, and playing basketball.
