Your business is growing. You must hire employees to help serve your customers. You know you need to follow the HR regulations, but you don’t want to be too “corporate-like” when it comes to policies and procedures. This seminar will provide a basic framework to hire, fire, and manage employees in your small business without turning it into a bureaucratic nightmare. We will answer questions like: Can I hire independent contractors for my business? What questions can't I ask in an interview? Do I have to provide benefits? What paperwork does a new employee need to complete? What policies do I have to have in place? How do I hold my employees accountable for their work? How do I safely document my employees? How do I fire an employee?
