Webinar: How R&D Tax Credits Could Benefit Your Business
It is estimated that 80% of eligible companies in the U.S. are not taking advantage of the R&D Tax Credit. The purpose of the R&D Tax Credit is to encourage businesses to invest in research and development in the United States by reducing their federal and state taxes. Any S-Corporation, C-Corporation, organization, trust, estate or individual can take advantage of this benefit. Whether you’re a non-profit, pre-revenue startup, or even a profitable corporation, this applies to you! Every business that is involved in developing or improving products or processes has the opportunity to claim R&D eligible expenses. These expenses could include, but are not limited to: salaries, subcontractors, and materials. Depending on where your business is located, you can claim this tax credit for the current year, PLUS the previous 3 years, which equates to approximately 5-10% of your R&D expenses!
