Are you looking to jump start your business concept? We are here to help!

This boot camp will help you quickly develop your business plan and determine the feasibility of launching your business. This workshop consists of 10 hours of training and covers business essentials, marketing, organizational issues, and a financial overview. In addition, each participant will complete 5 hours of no cost, one-on-one consulting with the presenter.

The goal of this boot camp is for participants to create a business plan or feasibility study. Participants will meet every week with the consultant to receive additional help to complete tasks and a business plan.

REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND THIS SERIES:

Must be in the process of applying for Boulder County CAP’s Personal Investment Program (PIE). OR must meet qualifications as a low-to-moderate income family in Boulder County.

Completion of this series and an approved business plan may be used to qualify for a grant from Boulder County CAP’s Personal Investment Program (PIE).

This series will be held virtually through Zoom

Multicultural businesses (even with little or no business experience) are encouraged to attend.

About the Presenter:

Jesse Esparza is the executive of Morning Sun Enterprises, LLC and has provided advice and support to a variety of individuals, organizations and businesses. He is a certified counselor and business adviser to the SBDCs of East Colorado, Boulder and North Metro. He has advised and provided necessary services to more than 400 new and existing entrepreneurs. His career has included 31 years as an educator and director. Their skills include support for individuals to improve their performance, multicultural education, improving organizations, business development, and obtaining appropriate resources.

The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) is funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC Network is a partnership between the State of Colorado, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the Small Business Administration (SBA), Colorado’s institutions of higher education, local economic development organizations and local chambers of commerce.
