Description:

Join us for Part 2 of our Basics of Bookkeeping workshop designed for the entrepreneur with little or no previous experience in business accounting. Facilitated by a local CPA, Paul DuMond, in this workshop we will delve a bit deeper into some of the areas we covered in Part 1, including recording financial transactions, depreciation and the various methods the IRS allows, comparing the different types of legal business structures the IRS allows you to use and how they affect the amount of taxes you pay and the amount of paperwork you are required to do, how to prepare for an IRS audit and better yet, how to help avoid being audited, what potential lenders look for, and more! Don't let the fact that you missed Part 1 keep you from attending this valuable workshop as we'll bring you up to speed by re-capping what we covered in the first session. All small business owners, whether they keep their own accounting records or not, can benefit from knowing more about the subjects this part of our Basics of Bookkeeping will cover!
