1. Developing a Solid Financial Plan

Learn how to increase revenue and lower expenses in order to set your business on a path toward financial soundness. In this workshop we will learn how to calculate break-even, determine an appropriate pricing strategy, determine COGS (cost of goods sold), budget, find industry standards, and more! This is a working session...we encourage you to bring your laptop with Excel or similar financial software if possible. Although it's not necessary, doing so will allow you to leave with actual financial calculations completed!


2. Basics of Bookkeeping

This workshop is designed for the entrepreneur with little or no experience in business accounting, and is taught by a local CPA. The workshop will cover functions of record keeping: cash versus accrual systems, recording transactions, revenue, expenses, and depreciation, accounts payable and receivable, and more.

3. Tax Planning Essentials

This workshop is a realistic starting point for small businesses wanting to strengthen their understanding and mastery over their business taxes.
 

4. Understanding Financial Statements

This interactive roundtable provides a top-line view and understanding of the key financial statements that need to be understood to be a successful business owner, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and helpful ratio calculations.

  • If you have already taken one of more of the above workshops, we will automatically issue a partial refund accordingly. If a sponsorship is lowering the cost of a particular workshop, the difference in cost will be automatically refunded to you after attending.
  • If you cannot make one of the workshops, please call us (719-667-3803) to re-schedule for either the next time the class is offered, or to swap with another class being offered.
  • Registering for this track simply means that you are registering for four individual workshops at $20/workshop. If you are unable to attend one of the classes, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund for that particular workshop.
