[WEBINAR] Minority Informed Series: Implementing Diversity & Inclusion in Your Small Business

May
14
2020
Thu 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Topic: Managing a Business

Description:

This facilitated workshop online introduces and provides tools to identify and address unconscious bias. This is a hands-on application to approaching, building, and maintaining relationships of mutual respect through an "open-to-learning" process of courageous conversation.  By applying the social tools gained through CEID (Cultural Excellence: Ideas and Discussions), participants are able to obtain a deeper understanding and a more profound respect for one another while creating an environment to speak openly and honestly.

The goal of this training is to enable participants to know the meaning of unconscious bias, help identify unconscious bias, teach keys to courageous conversations, and how to use courageous conversations through unconscious bias.

What to expect during CEID Online:

  • Positive Atmosphere
  • Open Discussions
  • Shared Meaning
  • Useful Activities
  • A Place for Every Voice
  • Respected Space

Presented by:

Regina Lewis, PhD
