Topic: Managing a Business

"On-site insight from real, local small businesses"

"Axe and the Oak Distillery started off as five friends with a true passion for good whiskey, live music, and the great outdoors. While sipping a glass of bourbon around a campfire, the question of whether they could create a great whiskey worth sharing became a challenge worth accepting – and the rest is history.

We believe whiskey is meant to be shared - with friends, with family, and with the community. That’s been our goal since day one. We love seeing people having a great time, sharing stories, laughing and enjoying each other – and what better way to do that than over a pour of whiskey. We taste every single batch to make sure it’s perfect."

Come join us for this 2021 Monthly series where we visit local small businesses and learn about the ins-and-outs of what it takes to be a local entrepreneur! Hear the good, the bad, and the ugly -- the "real talk" -- directly from local small business owners at their business location.

This will be a hybrid event. We will also be broadcasting this event live on Facebook.

The goal of this series is to strengthen our local entrepreneurial ecosystem by networking, championing small businesses, listening to their stories, and most importantly, learning from each other!

Thanks to a sponsorship from ABC Bank, each event in this series is free!
