Topic: Business Basics

Comprehensive Business Planning

In Business Plan 101, participants learned about the basic elements and key questions to be considered when thinking about starting a business. Often described as “Business Plan Lite,” the workshop helped determine whether a business idea was both feasible and practical. If you were unable to attend Business Plan 101 we do offer it in our On Demand collection. You can register for it here.

Business Plan 201 will help participants present their business idea to lenders, investors and customers while providing a roadmap for its successful operation and management.
ADDRESSING QUESTIONS ESSENTIAL TO THE BUSINESS STARTUP • Why do customers NEED or WANT the products or services you offer?

• How can you convince others YOU’RE the right person for this business?

• Is there a viable MARKET for your offerings?

• What CASH is needed and where can you get it?

• Where can you find the RESOURCES needed to help you succeed? An effective, WORKING business plan provides both the foundation and the pathway for a successful enterprise. It also tells others that the business is real and worth supporting.
