There is a loan program to help you get get the things you need to get the employees you need for your business. Sounds crazy right!! Otero Partners, Inc. is a county loan program that is specifically designed to increase employment in Otero and Las Animas Counties. This program has been around for over a decade, and we are looking for qualified businesses to make loans to so that we can increase employment right here in Otero County. What are we looking for? Highly motivated business owners that are in the manufacturing, retail, hospitality, medical, dental, decorating……. Wait, make this simple if you are not an agricultural or cannabis related business, you probably are eligible for these loans. We want businesses that have been in business for two years, have an established plan, and a specific use for a loan. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to refinance debt. What we are able to do, is help you buy the tooling, equipment, and inventory to get another person on the payroll. You might say, “I haven’t been in business for two years” That is ok. If you haven’t, we just want to see a well developed business plan. Don’t have one? We will have people there to help you get started on one.
